As always, ladies first and after competing during “The Return of Tom Dwan” week when Poker After Dark debuted in August, Lauren Roberts returned for the first-ever “High Stakes Hybrid” session. While Roberts wasn’t able to book a win in the $100,000 buy-in hybrid cash game, she opened the session with arguably one of the best folds we’ve seen on thus far on Poker After Dark. Those kinds of plays show that Roberts can compete with the best and it is likely just a matter of time until she hits PokerGO again.

Two players that have hit PokerGO a few times over the last few weeks couldn’t stay out of each other’s way during Wednesday’s “High Stakes Hybrid” session. At the top of the episode, Jason Koon predicted that there would be blood and then after a few clashes with Doug Polk, Koon went for the kill with pocket aces. Polk, who lost with aces earlier in the session, was coolered in an over $350K pot and Koon continued his Poker After Dark hot streak.

During “High Stakes Hybrid” week, Doug Polk lost the biggest pot of both sessions and during last week’s King of the Hill II, Polk lost a bet to Phil Hellmuth for another $10,000 loss. The Poker Brat, who was the reining KOTH champ, showed that his time court side and hanging with the Golden State Warriors has been paying off. Hellmuth got 10:1 on a three-point shot and drained it, shocking Polk, Shaun Deeb, and the rest of the group that was witness to the GOAT doing GOAT things.

Tough week? Want to unwind? We’ve heard alcohol helps, but we’d maybe advise against any orders that include onions, right Doug?

Don’t Look Now Bonus Clip: The Vegas Golden Knights are undefeated and the Golden Knights are going to win the Stanley Cup. Okay, maybe that second part won’t actually happen, but as you can see, Las Vegas is turning up for their first professional sporting franchise and as we know, the entire city is #VegasStrong.
