The second event of the ARIA High Roller Series played to a conclusion this afternoon on PokerGO. David Peters topped a competitive final table that included U.S. Poker Open finalists Sam Soverel, Seth Davies, and Justin Young.

Jake Schindler opened the series with a win against a field of 28 in the $10,000 High Roller.

The $25,000 High Roller attracted 15 entrants and it was Peters who emerged from the live streamed final table to win the $202,500 first-place prize.

Peters closed his USPO campaign with a win in the last $25,000 High Roller event and went back-to-back today.

It didn’t start off great for Peters, who lost an early all-in against Soverel. The WSOP bracelet winners butted heads preflop and Soverel gained the edge.

Poker After Dark favorite Young was the unfortunate bubble boy. The bearded brigade of Davies and Young collided and the blonde of Davies defeated Young’s gray.

It was Soverel’s turn to leave the ARIA stage next and play moved to the heads up portion with Davies in the lead. Davies was on the verge of earning the first win of his career at ARIA but the deck decided to delay his entrance into the winner’s circle.

Davies collects $112,500 for the silver medal and we are sure to see him back in the next ARIA High Roller Series event.

This concludes coverage of the ARIA High Roller Series. More PokerGO original content is coming next week with the premiere of “Racks of Lamb” week on Poker After Dark.
