Heading into the penultimate day of the World Poker Tour Borgata Poker Open Championship, one thing was guaranteed. Of the 24 players that returned for Day 4, none had ever hoisted the WPT Champions Cup, meaning that Friday’s final table was guaranteed to welcome a newcomer to the WPT Champions Club.

The player leading the charge into the WPT BPO Championship final table, which will be live streamed on PokerGO at 3:30 PM ET, is Matt Parry. The New Yorker, pictured below, bagged a massive 9.11 million chip stack, which is over 2 million more than his nearest competitor. That player is Greg Weber, who is a full-time firefighter in New Jersey and had to have one of his shifts covered during Day 3 of the WPT BPO Championship.

Retired Wall Street executive and former MIT blackjack team member Thomas Paul returns just behind Weber on the final table leader board, with Jia Liu and Guo Chen rounding out the top-five.

Two-time WSOP bracelet winner, online legend, and 2016 November Niner Cliff Josephy, pictured top, brings up the rear, but as the most experienced player at the final table, he should be able to put his 37-big blind stack to work. While Josephy’s career resume lacks a World Poker Tour title, what he has done both live and online over the last two decades is, unquestionably, Hall of Fame worthy. Win, lose, or draw, one of the legends of the game will be on display at the WPT BPO Championship final table on PokerGO.

The remaining six players have all locked up at least a $161,247 result, but they’ll all be chasing the $789,058 score that awaits the eventual WPT BPO Championship winner. The victor will also win a seat in the $15,000 season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions and join the WPT Champions Club, one of the most illustrious fraternities in all of poker.

The WPT BPO Championship final table will be live streamed exclusively on PokerGO, with Dave Farra, two-time World Poker Tour champion Jonathan Little, and 2017 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Scott Blumstein calling the action from the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. The final table broadcast begins at 3:30 PM ET on PokerGo and will continue until a WPT champion is crowned.
