The World Series of Poker is considered summer camp for thousands of poker players but the summer months also play host to some of the world’s biggest music festivals. Unfortunately, for festival goers, you might not be able to have your cake and eat it too, unless you are hungry for some Las Vegas-based EDC. If you want to play a full summer and sneak out of Sin City for a weekend of desert though, then Bonnaroo Music Festival needs to be circled on your calendar.

The four-day festival, running from June 8-11, is held in Manchester, Tennessee, far away from the poker action. The festival’s multiple stages feature live music from a diverse array of musical styles, from rock, to hip hop, to jazz, country music and everything in between. Notable acts that have graced the Bonnaroo stages before include Phish, Mumford and Sons, Kanye West and Jay-Z, The Black Keys, Bruce Springsteen and the Beastie Boys.

This year’s lineup features the same diversity of years past and was just released today. Worldwide sensation U2 headlines the show, with the Red Hot Chili Peppers returning for another summer. The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper and Travis Scott headline the hip hop genre, while Flume, Lorde and The XX carry the indie flag.

Unlike Coachella tickets, that sell out well in advance, Bonnarro tickets are still available. So, if you are okay missing out on a few big WSOP events, most notably the $1,500 Millionaire Maker, and want to experience what Rolling Stone magazine has called “the ultimate over-the-top summer festival,” schedule your summer trip to Tennessee now.
