The beauty of social media is that it is whatever you make it. This week, everyone from computer programs to United States Senators, and everyone in between, made social media great again with some hilarious tweets. Cue laugh track and see the best and funniest that the ‘Twitterverse’ had to offer this week.

It’s a little early for Poker Twitter extraordinaire Kevin Mathers to be getting questions about the World Series of Poker but that didn’t stop poker’s best and newest Troll Account from trying to get information on this summer’s Heads Up Championship. Carnegie Mellon’s Libratus is beating the humans to the tune of about eighty buy-ins to that $10,000 event but luckily, won’t be able to compete for a bracelet this summer.

Earlier this week, American filmmaker and the man who wrote Rounders, Brian Koppelman tweeted that Erik Seidel would do a “great job” and would be his choice from the poker community to be president. Last night, Koppelman’s President-elect, jokingly, reminded us that the media is still “dishonest and crooked” and that he’s, not jokingly, still one of the world’s best poker players.

In one of the best moments of last year’s Super High Roller Bowl, German wunderkind Fedor Holz describes Phil Hellmtuh as an “aggressive Bob Ross”. I don’t know what that means, I didn’t know Bob Ross had a German following but I did have a feeling that the best Photoshop we’d get would be from the lovable Uncle Ron.

We interrupt your regularly schedule hilarious tweets to bring you the next great charitable initiative coming from the poker world. High stakes professional Andrew Robl will be matching donations up to $300,000 this year, with those donations going to a new four charities each month. This is just another instance of the poker world giving back, something that is good for not only the game but also the world. More information can be found on Robl’s website.

This has nothing to do with poker but it is hilarious. Quick scoreboard check shows, yup, Ted Cruz won the internet.
