Day 2 of the PokerStars Championship Panama $50,000 Super High Roller came to a close with six players remaining to fight for the title. The event drew 33 entrants for the second international PokerStars Championship event since rebranding their live tours. Ben Tollerene leads the survivors with a sizable lead after bagging up 2.9 million with all remaining players in the money.

Orpen Kisacikoglu leads the chase pack with 1.6 million, Steve O’Dwyer and Daniel Dvoress sit middle of the pack with 1.3 million each while Justin Bonomo and Timothy Adams bring the short stacks to the table with 756,000 and 225,000 respectively.

Super High Roller veteran Bryn Kenney bubbled the event when he pushed his 14 big blind-stack in preflop with king eight of diamonds. Dvoress called with ace nine of diamonds, the board ran jack-high and Kenney was eliminated.

Kisacikoglu, a Turkish player, is in line for his third cash of the year after final tabling a Turbo event and finishing 20th in the PokerStars Championship Bahamas High Roller event. Regardless of what happens, he locked up the largest cash of his career by returning the final table with at least $110,920 locked up.

Dvoress has never finished higher than third place in a major event but has $2.9 million in career earnings. His largest cash to date was a fourth-place finish in the $100,000 Super High Roller at the Bahamas in January for $576,300.

Bonomo is looking for his first PokerStars-branded win since he took down the 2012 Super High Roller in Monaco at the EPT Grand Final for $2.1 million. Adams’ last tournament win came in July 2016 in a $25,000 Aria High Roller event for $386,400.

The field combined for a $1,584,495 prize pool, the min-cash comes in at $110,920 while the winner earns $538,715. The runner-up earns $372,360, third place gets $237,680 and fourth gets $182,220. The fifth-place finisher pockets $142,600.
