Today it was announced that New York-based entertainment company Believe Entertainment Group partnered up with Poker Central to produce the “Super High Roller Club” for PokerGO. This six-episode lifestyle series premieres on February 26th on PokerGO, when all episodes will be available exclusively through poker’s premiere live-streaming platform.
The “Super High Roller Club” comprises of the off-the-felt pursuits of Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Antonio Esfandiari, Nick Schulman, Farah Galfond, and Brandon Adams.
Super High Roller Bowl and Poker After Dark commentator Ali Nejad plays host on the “Super High Roller Club,” as he follows the six top players as they talk and show off their passions aside from their love of the game of poker.
“This series will give viewers a glimpse inside the lives of poker’s most notable high stakes players as they pursue their greatest non-poker passions. Fans will have the opportunity to watch the world’s most interesting poker personalities experience the finest pursuits that Vegas has to offer – from sports, fashion to fine dining,” said Sam Simmons, vice president of content at Poker Central.
“The success of our scripted series ‘Poker Nights’ demonstrated the continued opportunity we have to deepen engagement with this community through all types of great programming rooted in poker. With ‘Super High Roller Club,’ we’ve created an unscripted format that showcases poker’s greatest players in ways fans have never seen before,” said Brian Hunt, president of Believe Entertainment Group’s studio and head of development. “
This is not the first time Believe and Poker Central partnered up, as their comedic short-form series “Poker Nights” debuts with six episodes in the summer of 2017. “Poker Nights” took a comedic approach to a group of friends playing in a home game, headlined Chris Parnell and a guest appearance by Phil Hellmuth.
Believe is an Academy Award-nominated company that recently produced Dear Basketball, an animated short film with Kobe Bryant. For the full press release, click on this link.
