The penultimate day of the partypoker MILLION North America Main Event saw 37 players return with a shot at the CAD$5,000,000 guaranteed event final table but when the dust settled, just eight survived the day and one of the world’s most respected professionals was at the top of the counts. That player also sits second on the GPI Player of the Year leader board and Ari Engel, the jet-setting pro who already has nearly 20 cashes and five podium finishes in 2017, could be adding another major tournament win to his resume tomorrow.

Engel, who sits on 252,500,000 of the 1.1 billion chips in play, won’t have an easy out though. There are some other veteran professionals at the final table, including Canadian Jean-Pascal Savard, who final tabled the 2015 PCA $25,000 High Roller. He bagged 243,000,000 chips, good for second heading into the final table and the only other player over the chip average is Rayan Chamas.

The other big names fall below that threshold but should not be taken lightly. Matthew Waxman, who is behind 115,300,000, is a WSOP bracelet winner and Niall Farrell has a World Poker Tour title to his credit.

They, along with the rest of the final table will all be fighting for a CAD$1,000,000 top prize but outside that 1st place result, there is some serious money up for grabs at the final table. Over $3 million will be dispersed tomorrow, with Day 5 starting at 12 PM local time. There will be a final table live stream, which begins at 12:30 PM local time due to a 30-minute delay.

Updates can be found on the partypoker MILLION website, the live stream can be found here and a full winner’s story will be posted on PokerCentral.com when play concludes.
