With 14 players remaining in the World Series of Poker Main Event, three players are looking to make repeat runs to the final table. Americans Ben Lamb and Michael Ruane have each experienced the November Nine, with Ruane still alive for back-to-back single digit finishes. France’s Antoine Saout is also looking to make another final table, after finishing 3rd in 2009.

While the three horsemen look to ride a variety of stacks to another final table, three other men look to make historical trips to their own final tables. Argentina and Portugal have never made WSOP Main Event final tables and with just five eliminations separating this field from the final nine and the end of Day 7, with action streaming live on PokerGO, Damian Salas, Richard Dubini and Pedro Oliveira are all still in contention.

Salas, who was the Day 4 chip leader, and Dubini are carrying the Argentine flag towards the final table, after Andres Korn won just the second WSOP bracelet for Argentina earlier this summer. Portugal have never made it to the winner’s circle at the World Series, which means Oliveira will attempt to kill two birds with one stone over the next few days.

For Lamb, Ruane, Saout, the Argentines and Oliveira though, we are getting ahead of ourselves with these final table what ifs. Even though just five eliminations separate the field from the final table, there is likely a long, long way to go and you can follow all of the WSOP Main Event action on PokerGO
