The latest theme in Season 6 of Poker After Dark revolves around the nature of bachelors in the poker world. “Lonesome Shark” is defined by six players enjoying the poker life while in pursuit of their own version of ‘Lady Luck.’

You won’t find love in THE VAULT but you will find a group of players with varying styles of play and social temperament. Streaming on PokerGO is a $20,000 Sit-N-Go where truly, anything goes.

This episode airs in 2010 and quite a bit has changed between the cast then and where they are now. Former bachelors Erick Lindgren and Antonio Esfandiari have married since the original broadcast and both have children of their own.

The only player making their first ever Poker After Dark appearance in this show is James Akenhead. The British pro is less than a year removed from making the World Series of Poker Main Event final table at this stage and still basking in the November Nine glow. Akenhead’s dry sense of humor is a welcome addition to the table. British players rarely appear on Poker After Dark. When they do, though, they leave a welcome impression. Akenhead does just that.

Mike Matusow is in the game also and does all things Mike Matusow. Love is a journey, sometimes. Matusow remains married to the game.

Former Main Event runner-up David Williams sits down next to Matusow. The voice of the Poker Masters is right at home in this environment with his future broadcasting partner Ali Nejad on the call.

The final member of the prospective bachelors is Canadian friend of Poker After Dark Brad Booth. A high stakes cash game player by trade, Booth is accustomed to the Poker After Dark format at this stage. This episode is the last ever for Booth and his presence is available on demand in THE VAULT.
