Poker Central has announced that the Amazon Appstore and Zynga will be the presenting sponsors of the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl that kicks off on May 28th. The Amazon Appstore and Zynga are the mobile gaming partners for poker’s biggest event, and additional events to be announced later this year.
The Amazon Appstore sponsors the Super High Roller Bowl for the third consecutive year while Zynga is a first-time participant after the successful sponsorship of the Poker Central Charity Shootout in December 2016.
“Welcoming back Amazon Appstore and adding Zynga as sponsors of Poker Central’s high-stakes tournaments is a testament to the popularity of poker entertainment and the success it brings to all parties involved,” said Joe Kakaty, president of Poker Central. “We look forward to building on this strong relationship between Poker Central, Amazon Appstore, and Zynga by providing the best brand sponsorship opportunities available in our year-round poker programming.”
Top pros and Poker Central ambassadors Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Hellmuth, Brian Rast and Tom Marchese are battling for a piece of the $16.8 million prize pool, with a staggering $6 million up top. Actor and comedian Kevin Hart will also participate in the third edition of the Super High Roller bowl, measuring himself against some of the game’s greats.
The Super High Roller Bowl starts on Sunday, May 28th and runs for five straight days at the ARIA Hotel, Resort & Casino. Live streaming of the event will be available on Facebook Live, Twitch and YouTube during Day 1, and exclusively via PokerGO starting on Day 2.
